IEPIS (Intensive English Program for International Students)
IEPIS is an Intensive English Program specially designed for international students who want to improve their English. The idea is similar to that of English Camp where the students should stay in a country far from home and the locals do not speak their language. It is a 4-week stay in Indonesia with 25 hours of class instructions per week and 3 excursions to famous cultural and tourism sites in Indonesia (including trip to Jogjakarta visiting Borobudur and Prambanan Temple).
The students will be tutored by the best English instructors in Semarang State University and each student will be hosted one local student from SSU to help them adapt with the new environment. IEPIS is believed to be more effective than conventional English course because the environment provided to push the students to communicate in English more effectively to survive.
Courses
The courses include comprehensive speaking, academic writing, reading, listening, vocabulary, cultural excursions, etc.
Program Fee
The fee for this program is USD 759. This will include one month tuition fee, housing and meals, program book, excursions, and souvenirs. Airfare and personal expenses are not included.
