Improve International Reputation, UNNES Welcomes The University of Auckland

In order to be an international reputable university, all elements of Semarang State University (UNNES) must add more networks with international institutions. Starting from the university level, majors, to existing study programs.

The cooperation program is carried out by the Partnership Division  by holding a meeting and signing the Minutes of Meeting with the University of Auckland on Monday (17/09) in the Vcon Room, Building H, UNNES Sekaran Campus, Semarang.

Also present at the event were Prof. YL Sukestiyarno., M.S., Ph.D. As Vice Rector of Planning and Partnership Affairs, Intan Permata Hapsari, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the Head of the International Office of UNNES, Dr. Marek Tesar as the International Associate Dean of The University of Auckland, and faculties representatives of Universitas Negeri Semarang.

According to Dr. Marek Tesar, The University of Auckland will open a huge partnership to UNNES. The focus of the collaboration he offered included joint-master programs, master degrees, undergraduate double degrees, student mobility programs (exchange programs), visiting lecturers (lecturer visit) and research collaborations.

UNNES Exchanges Students from UPSI Malaysia and Kasetsart University Thailand

Universitas Negeri Semarang sends 5 students of Credit Transfer (CT) program to UPSI Malaysia and accepts 3 students from Kasetsart University Thailand. The ceremony was attended by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Rustono M.Hum and Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation Prof. YL Sukestiyarno Ph.D at Sekaran Campus, Friday (25/8).

Prof. Rustono advised the students to always maintain the good name of UNNES. In addition, Prof. Rustono also hopes that students can gain the best knowledge because not all students can experience this program.

Meanwhile, Prof. YL Sukestiyarno explained that this activity will take place from September to December. Those from UNNES English Language and Natural Sciences Education will go to Kasetsart University Thailand, while the Civil Engineering and Building Engineering students will go to UPSI Malaysia.

Besides, UNNES also receives 5 students from UPSI Malaysia. They are from Civil Engineering Study and Building Engineering Study Program.
