Socialization of study in the United States presents the representative from the Embassy of the United States of America-the Section of Collaboration from Academic, Students Affairs. This socialization of education system and scholarship opportunity in the US was held by Collaboration Bureau of Universitas Negeri Semarang on Wednesday (15/8) in the second floor of Prof. Satmoko building, UNNES. The socialization presents Muhammad Iqbal from Embassy of the United States of America. This program was supported by International Office UNNES and attended by Intan Permata Hapsari as the head of International Office, lecturers, and students.
Iqbal explains completely regarding Education USA, an institution providing information of higher education, and scholarships in the United States of America. In details, Education USA also provides services of education consultants, mentoring, scholarship information, and annual fall graduates.
There are many choices of scholarship provided by the Embassy of the United States of America, including Fulbright Master’s Degree Program, Fulbright Doctoral Degree Program, Fulbright Grants for Indonesian Lecturers, Global Undergraduate Exchange Program, East West Center graduate Degree Fellowship, etc.
Iqbal added that these scholarships are not only for students to pursue bachelor degree, but they are also provided for master or doctoral degree. There are some requirements of continuing study in the United States of America, such as registration forms, registration fee, TOEFL iBT and SAT for undergraduates, TOEFL iBT and GRE/ GMAT certificate for graduate scholars, essays, and reference letters.
