Two FMIPA UNNES Students Attended a Programming Computer Workshop in Koh Samui Thailand

Two students from FMIPA UNNES represented Indonesia at the Computer Programing workshop in Koh Samui Thailand on March 4-13, 2018. They were Rizki Danang Kartiko Kuncoro and Nerly Angraeni from Computer Science department of FMIPA UNNES, accompanied by Sigit Raharjo staff from Dejavato Foundation. This activity was attended by 25 students from 8 countries namely Indonesia, Poland, Croatia, Spain, Kenya, Peru, Vietnam and Thailand.

During the program, participants attended various workshop sessions such as introduction of Scratch programming language, computer-based game making, computer animation and group discussion. All the participants also performed cultural exchange which made the workshop more interesting. They were also given time to explore the island of Koh Samui which is famous for the beauty of the beach and nature.

This program is part of the Erasmus+ program which is fully supported by the European Commission and is organized by the Meritum Poland Organization. After this activity was completed, the participants will pass on the knowledge and skills acquired in their respective countries.
