Sport Students Exchange Program

SSE is a short course program implemented as one of the steps in applying measures to preserve both natural and human resources in the embodiment of the conservation values as well as sports and cultural diversity. These activities are designed to promote Universitas Negeri Semarang as a Conservation University at the international level in order to strengthen the internal identity of the university’s academicians.

SSE is one of the flagship programs of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, which facilitates international students to learn Indonesian language, culture, and sports in the Faculty of Sport Sciences Universitas Negeri Semarang. The duration of this program is 3 months. The approximate 10 meetings will engage the students in learning Indonesian language and Indonesian culture, such as Batik and traditional dances. The students will not only get a chance to study the faculty’s flagship sports, but also Indonesian traditional sports. In addition, they also get the opportunity to stay at lecturers’ houses and interact with the local people in a new environment. Cultural excursions are set to provide the students with the remarkable experience to visit exquisite historical places in Central Java.

The program will cover :

  1. Bilingual Class
  2. Dormitory with WiFi
  3. Bicycle
  4. Semarang City Tour
  5. Borobudur Tour

and will not cover:

  1. Round trip ticket
  2. Visa
  3. Daily needs and Personal expenses

  1. Indonesian Language
  2. Batik
  3. Traditional Dance
  4. Sepak Takraw (Kick Volleyball)
  5. Badminton
  6. Pencak Silat (Indonesian Traditional Martial Arts)
  7. Traditional Sports
  8. Woodball
  9. Archery
  10. Tonnis
